Coronet Grove, Beaumaris is the result of a successful collaboration between Atkinson Pontifex and architect Peter Maddison, with contribution from interior designer Fiona Austin and landscaper Mark Browning.
In May 2010, Atkinson Pontifex proudly accepted two major accolades at the HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards, having already won the Victorian Home of the Year and Custom Built Home of the Year at the 2009 awards. This time, we snapped up the national titles: Australian Home of the Year and Custom Built Home of the Year 2010. The awards are an outstanding achievement.
Built in an elevated seaside location, Coronet Grove has sweeping views of Port Phillip Bay. It is a unique, contemporary house that responds to its coastal natural surrounds, and has featured in design magazines both in Australia and internationally.
