We are thrilled to share the latest glimpse into the creation of another masterpiece!
The echoes of maritime history reverberate as historic shipyard timber from the Garden Island Naval Shipyards in Sydney Harbour takes centre stage. Transformed with engineering excellence, these colossal trusses now reach down to embrace the tranquil beachfront, embodying a seamless union of legacy and innovation.
Carefully sourced by our client from recycling brokers, the Naval Shipyards Ironbark, dating from the shipyard's construction period of 1856 to 1945, was sent to Melbourne and stored, awaiting its rebirth as massive, exposed trusses for this bespoke build. A local engineering company crafted the intricate connecting plates for the nine trusses, which were then constructed on-site and craned into position.
Join us on this captivating journey as we weave dreams into reality, constructing not just a home, but a living legacy.
