Set in a prime beachside location, Nepean celebrates traditional carpentry on a grand architectural scale. Its massive King Trusses were handmade on site from reclaimed Ironbark salvaged from the historic Garden Island Naval Dockyards, with every floorboard, window sill and architrave milled from recycled timber sourced over years by the clients themselves. Off-the-shelf solutions simply wouldn’t do — each piece carried its own history, demanding traditional craftsmanship, patience and a level of attention no standard building process could replicate. The result is a true carpentry masterpiece, where years of collecting and dreaming became a home built exactly as imagined.
